After 24 hours on the road and the air, I’m in Cusco! And it is sunny, thank goodness! I connected with Roman and Fielding yesterday when they were in Cusco buying supplies and will be in touch again in a few days about a visit to Pisac. In the meantime, Lourdes Jibaja, director of the Kusi Kawsay School, sent the following message; for those of you who have sent donations, this is where the Pachamama’s Path funds will be directed. We are finally able to write all our dear friends, family and loved ones -
First of all we want to let you all know that we are fine. What an intense time this has been – we are still in a daze not able to digest what happened last Sunday night, February 28, 2010.
We know you are all so worried. We receive your thoughts and love and concern every moment of every day and that helps us keep moving forward. We know we are not alone.
